Mizuki, a freshman in high school, is leading a life of academic dedication and monotony. Feeling disinterested, she decides to take a break during spring vacation and travels to visit her Aunt Yuki in Akita. Aunt Yuki operates an appealing coffee shop. While on her visit, Mizuki joins Aunt Yuki to deliver products to a nearby high school. There she becomes engrossed in the school’s marching band’s eight-minute show, which leads to her voyage of self-exploration.
